The Village at Palisades Tahoe has lodging options at the base of Olympic Valley, from standard rooms to three-bedroom condos. Almost all rooms have private balconies, full kitchens, and fireplaces. Room types include options with mountain views, dens, and multiple bedrooms. Premier units, available only in One Bedroom Suites or larger, have modern furnishings, stainless steel appliances, flat-screen televisions, and air conditioning in each room. Standard suites do not have air conditioning. Studios do not have a balcony, fireplace, or full kitchen. Apartments provide tea and coffee facilities, sitting area, a dining table, and garden furniture.
Dining options
The Village at Palisades Tahoe has many restaurants, including Soupa, which serves slow-cooked soups, quinoa bowls, and gluten-free sandwiches. The Chalet, an Alps-inspired cabin near the base of Scott Chair, serves cinnamon buns, paninis, and beer. High Camp has dining experiences. The resort provides refreshments and beer from Fiftyfifty Brewery in Truckee 4 miles up Mountain Run to High Camp.
Leisure and activities
Lodging guests can access 8 outdoor hot tubs in the base area. Guests can visit the Olympic Museum and Washoe Display at High Camp. In summer, activities include hiking trails with views of Lake Tahoe. The Aerial Tram provides access to High Camp. Guests can explore Lake Tahoe's Via Ferrata. During the Fall, the Village hosts Oktoberfest with German beer, Bavarian music, and dance. Live entertainment is provided by Joe Smiell's 20 Piece Bavarian Band, the Almenrausch Schuhplattler Dance Troupe and Alpentanzer Schuhplattler Dance Troupe, accompanied by the Alpentanz Kapelle Band. Skiers and riders can access 3,600 skiable acres at Palisades. The ASC Training Center is available. Favorite events include the Retro Après Ski Party hosted by Jonny Moseley.
Location and transport
The Village At Palisades Tahoe is 85 km from Reno-Tahoe International. The resort offers an on-demand shuttle service in Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows, with evening service between valleys. Palisades Tahoe has tips on preferred and carpool parking and rideshare programs.
Services available
The Village at Palisades Tahoe provides a 24-hour front desk, laundry services, and housekeeping. Ski Butlers offers delivery, on-snow support, and pick-up services for ski equipment rentals. Shipping services are available to guests using UPS or FedEx. Group lodging is available for groups of 10-400 people. Lift tickets, rentals, and lodging packages are available for corporate groups. Palisades Tahoe offers ski and snowboard lessons. A tuning center is located in the rental shops in the Alpine Lodge or The Village at Palisades Tahoe. Lockers are available for rent. The resort launched the Washoe Cultural Talk series, presented by members of the Washoe Tribe.
