THE VILLAGE AT PALISADES TAHOE, Olympic Valley (Squaw Valley)

The Village at Palisades Tahoe provides lodging at the base of Olympic Valley, with options from standard rooms to three-bedroom condos. Almost all rooms feature private balconies, full kitchens, and in-room fireplaces. Premier units, available in One Bedroom Suites or larger, include modern furnishings, stainless steel appliances, flat-screen televisions, and air conditioning in each room. Standard suites do not have air conditioning. Studio units do not have a balcony, fireplace, or full kitchen. Guests can make bedding configuration requests; confirmation occurs upon arrival, based on availability.

The Village at Palisades Tahoe features several restaurants, including Soupa, which serves slow-cooked soups, quinoa bowls, and gluten-free sandwiches. High Camp offers dining experiences. The Chalet, near the base of Scott Chair, provides cinnamon buns and panini.

Lodging guests have access to 8 outdoor hot tubs in the base area. Summer activities include hiking trails with views of Lake Tahoe, easily accessible via summer trail maps. The Aerial Tram takes visitors to High Camp, where they can find the Olympic Museum, the Washoe Display, and other free activities. The Village at Palisades Tahoe is 85 km from Reno-Tahoe International. An on-demand shuttle service is available in Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows, with evening service between valleys. Palisades Tahoe has three enclosed lifts: a Gondola, an Aerial Tram, and a Funitel, all accessible with the Sightseeing Package. The resort provides access to the Base to Base Gondola, offering access to both Palisades and Alpine.

The Village at Palisades Tahoe includes a 24-hour front desk, laundry services, and heated underground parking. Ski Butlers provides rental delivery, on-snow support, and pick-up services. Shipping services are available to guests using UPS or FedEx. The resort launched the Washoe Cultural Talk series, offering guests a view of the mountains through the eyes of the Washoe people.
